About
The Queen Mary's Association (formerly known as the Duncombists) is the Alumni Association of Queen Mary's School. Girls who finished the school automatically become members but we also would like to hear from those who may of left before they had to. We also would like to hear from old members of staff both teaching and pastoral.
For many years the Queen Mary's Association (QMA) has been run by Miss Gill Davis. Miss Davis has recently had to step back from her role with the QMA due to ill health and is now our honorary President. We would like to take this opportunity to thank her for all her hard work.
In advance of the schools 90th Anniversary in 2015 the QMA is being relaunched and Miss Cathy Baker (2004) has undertaken the task ably assisted by her classmate and now head of admissions at the school Miss Mel Chapman (2004). We hope to organise a reunion in the Summer of 2015 at Baldersby Park as well as create a exhibition and book celebrating the schools anniversary.
Aims
The aim of the association is to foster friendship between alumni of the school and keep the family atmosphere the school is known for beyond the school gates. We invite you to join in this vibrant and growing community and help us make the association a relevant and natural extension of the school.
